Btw: If you are not tagging your posts properly there is a high chance I will eventually unfollow you even though I really do like your tumblr blog. Tagging exists for the reason and I really don’t want to go throught I don’t know how many posts of people/things/inside jokes/whatever I don’t have any idea about. I would rather prefer to tumblr saviour it, thank you.
They are so lovely couple! As said Martin about Marie: ”She is like a wife for me.” Unfortunately, Marie had already married :)
I wonder if Lois Habert (who retired as an active biathlete after this season) is so happy about their relationship too. Same goes for Martin’s girlfriend. :-) But really, they are so cute, I especially love that second picture! Also, I love how Darya is looking at them!
During the World Championships in Rhupolding there were made two great videos. One is with my favourite - now already retired - biathlete Magdalena Neuner and the second one is with one of the most funny (in his own way) and modest biathlete in the World Cup - Bjoern Ferry. The best part of both interviews were the (very last) last questions and I don’t know which one I like more. :-D Also, I cannot imagine Lena Neuner doing some handcraft or playing a harp. And also I find it hilarious that Bjoern Ferry’s wife is an arm-wrestler champion and he like politics and heavy metal!
Danke fur alles, Lena. (And there ends my German attempt.) She had quite a short but the best carrer one can wish for, winning everything. I still remember one of her first World Cup races, she was fast as hell and then.. the standing shooting came. I became her fan because of this. Also I remember her coming to the last shooting of World Championship individual race few years ago where she came with almost 4 minutes lead.. and missed all five targets. :-) She became my favourite then. Biathlon was never boring with her (not that biathlon was ever boring, of course!) and thanks to her we even had a term “Neuner” (missing five targets on the last shooting) at our little biathlon forum. And Lena managed to show us she can outbid herself and did a legendary “uberNeuner” this season. Yes, she was really special and my favourite female biathlete.
I am so happy for it, when I saw his crossing the finish line and heard excited Russian commentator (to who I even understand something) I almost criedsomething little fell into my eye.
I don’t know how is it with the math exactly right now because the worst three results are not being taken into an account in World Cup overall scores but I heard that the only thing Martin needs to do is finnish not worse than on 24th place to secure the world cup win tomorrow - one race before the end of the season. Don’t know how is it with Magdalena Neuner though.
In the other news, Simon Fourcade managed to finish 73rd out of 86 biathletes and didn’t even got to the tomorrow’s pursuit. Really, sometimes I want to slap this guy even harder than Little Seb. One day he is reaching for his premier victory and day after he is able to finish 73rd, phew!
French relay team. Okay, they might have finished 2nd at the World Championship but they are still the best and the most awesome team ever! Also, they are all looking good.
