France only second in relay race! I bet it’s because Simon Fourcade was in the team because everybody knows he just cannot finnish better than 2nd!

..But really - I am a bit disappointed in Martin Fourcase but he cannot be winning and be flawless all the time on the other hand. I am also just a bit angry that he lost against Emil Hegle Svendsen because I really dislike that guy.

It’s also a surprise that Martin was the guy who was probably the worst from French team. Jean-Guillaume Beatrix did a great race, same about Simon Fourcade and Alexis Boeuf - I really like all those guys. Also even though I dislike Svendsen I am happy in a way for Norwegian team because Ole Einar Bjoerndalen would get a hard time from journalists otherwise.. Also congratulations to Italy and Austria for finishing in top 5, great job; mainly by Dominik Landertinger who managed to beat Dmitry Malyshko in the last lap - I guess not many people were expecting this.

Congratulations to Norway to their gold medal in mixed relay at the World Championships but I can’t help myself and have to feel sorry for Slovenia. Yes, it was right to give those 30 seconds back to Ole Einar Bjoerndalen because it wasn’t his fault that there was a targets malfuction but I can’t help myself and have to wonder if Jakov Fak would try harder if he knew he had to win by more than 30 seconds to actually cross the finish line first AND get the gold medal for underdogs from Slovenia too.

Also, what the fuck was this, Fourcade brothers? (And especially you, Simon.) You are the biggest favourites, you are leading the race in the half of it and you end up 11th? This was a meltdown as fuck. If I was Marie Laure Brunet or Marie Dorin Habert I would probably beat you with my skis or something. And I would do the same to Arnd Peiffer if I was Andi Birnbacher or Lena Neuner (who were pretty awesome and flawless in this race). You had a lead over one minute, boy!

Yes, so this was a pretty eventfull first day of biathlon World Championships.

Those two. I don’t know which one of them I dislike more. Before I went to see a biathlon world cup in Nové Město na Moravě I would probably say Northug because he seemed to be far more arrogant prick than Svendsen but after seeing Svendsen and his behaviour towards his fans live I am not so sure about it any more. But I guess he is at least not behaving so arrogant to other sportsmen from his discipline so I guess it is still Northug? Btw, I also thing Northug is uglier than Svendsen (not that it’s something really hard to achieve).

Biathlon press conference! I love press conferences videos so much, no matter from what sport they are! I have to say I am starting to like Martin Fourcade more and more (as if I didn’t like him enough by now), he is really nice, modest and I love his accent. And yes as he said, he should work on his English at least a bit. I don’t like Svendsen much, I mean he is a pretty good athlete and everything but he appears to be too self-confident. (Btw, I have a feeling he ate all the stuff which was on his table during that press conference.) And Jaroslav Soukup was kinda nice too - you could see it was his first podium and first press conference so he was nervous. Oh, and he has a typical Czech accent which I don’t really like.
