Jerome D’Ambrosio joins Lotus as third driver for 2012

Great! Because let’s face it, he can bre gorgeous as much as he wants, he is just not good enough for a F1 racing seat. And speaking about racing seats - I hope at least Vitaly Petrov will find one because I cannot bear all of my favourite 2011 F1 drivers (Jerome D’Ambrosio, Vitaly Petrov and Sébastien Buemi) not racing this year.

Top Ten: Funniest F1 moments of 2011

wtformula1:

There was plenty of drama during the 2011 F1 season, overtakes galore, huge crashes and thrilling final laps but there were also the funny moments, plenty of them in fact.

We’ve had to whittle them down to just ten moments, so here it is. The ten funniest moments of 2011. Enjoy.

Great top 10! My favourite is probably that marshall at Canadian GP failing twice. :-D

LOVE IS OVER, TORO ROSSO. Firstly you kicked off Sébastien Bourdais for DJ wannabe with long name. Okay, I could live with that. But now, you kicked off my cute little Buemi and that is unforgetable. Just no. And even the fact you kicked that annoying DJ wannabe off too and signed Jean-Eric Vergne won’t save you.

Link: Buemi out of Toro Rosso in the next year?

Just read this article about Sébastien Buemi and his 2012 season and according to his statements, poor little him seems to be quite a desperate.

I hope the bosses will see that out of us (Buemi and Alguersuari) I’m the fastest driver on the track.Without luck, what can I do? I give everything but you’re helpless against fate. I will continue to push even though I’ve never seen so much Scheisse*. In Abu Dhabi and Brazil you will again see a strong fight from me, even though I have much to lose in the battle. But I never give up”, he said and then to the question if he think he will stay in Toro Rosso for the next season he replied: I can only hope.”

Dear Toro Rosso, if you kick Buemi out and let that DJ wannabe with unpronouncable surname to stay I will hate you forever. Firsty you kicked my French Sébastien for him and now also the Swiss one? No. Just no.

* Scheisse. He said scheisse. I love him.

After the first part, here is the second part of the Richard Burns Foundation “Paint It Orange” campaign photos. It’s really nice to see that so many drivers want to help. (If somebody wants to help he/she can order this t-shirt here. More about the whole thing here.)

F1 & motogp qualitifations

I was finally able to get to my computer and thus reading the results of qualifications to Korea F1 race and Australian motogp, moto2 and 125cc races. Here are my thoughts..

Formula 1:

Yay for Lewis “Gangsta” Hamilton winning (and thus beating Button), another yay for Vitaly Petrov beating Bruno “the other/slower” Senna, Pastor Maldonado beating old dinosaur Rubens Barichello and Heikki “fireman” Kovalainen beating another dinosaur Jarno Trulli. On the other hand - boo for Fernado Alonso beaten by his worhless teammate Massa, and little cute Sébastien Buemi beaten by cool DJ-wannabe Jaime Alguersuari (I have finally learned how to write his name, so only half-boo). Oh, and also boo for Jerome d’Ambrosio being beaten by Timo Glock.

Motogp:

Yay for Casey Stoner and his cute ears winning, also yay for Bautista being 4th even though I don’t like him. Another yay for Nicky Hayden beating Valentino Rossi (in fact yay for first 12 drivers beating him). Boo for Pedrosa for being only 8th, also boo for Randy de Puniet for being beaten by his dinosaur teammate Loris Capirossi, another boo for Cal “I think I am better than I really am” Crutchlow and for Toni “I was crap for the whole year but was once on the podium so I don’t understand why I don’t have a contract for next year” Elias.

Moto2:

Uncertain yay for Alex de Angelis because I don’t like him much but good job for winning the qualification. Huge yay for another one form the long list of sexy French drivers/riders Mike di Meglio for being second. And big boo for Jules Cluzel for being only 21st (phew!). Also I haven’t seen a video of my poor little Ratthapark Wilairot and Marc “I still look like I am 12 years old” Marquez crash so I won’t be judging anyone. But considering Marquez was the penalized one I guess it was his mistake.

125cc:

Yay for little Frenchie Johann Zarco winning the qualification and beating riders like Nico Terol, Jonas Folger and Hector Faubel because I don’t like them.
