Btw: If you are not tagging your posts properly there is a high chance I will eventually unfollow you even though I really do like your tumblr blog. Tagging exists for the reason and I really don’t want to go throught I don’t know how many posts of people/things/inside jokes/whatever I don’t have any idea about. I would rather prefer to tumblr saviour it, thank you.
I don’t know how is it with the math exactly right now because the worst three results are not being taken into an account in World Cup overall scores but I heard that the only thing Martin needs to do is finnish not worse than on 24th place to secure the world cup win tomorrow - one race before the end of the season. Don’t know how is it with Magdalena Neuner though.
In the other news, Simon Fourcade managed to finish 73rd out of 86 biathletes and didn’t even got to the tomorrow’s pursuit. Really, sometimes I want to slap this guy even harder than Little Seb. One day he is reaching for his premier victory and day after he is able to finish 73rd, phew!
French relay team. Okay, they might have finished 2nd at the World Championship but they are still the best and the most awesome team ever! Also, they are all looking good.
I didn’t even know that Simon has a girfriend? Can you tell me more about her? Also - does Martin have a girlfriend too or is he single?
Yep I can! :) They both have a girlfriends. Simon’s girlfriend is Russian her name is Anastasiya or short name Nastya. They met on Kamchatka and he understood that she was his human and they had many similarities by the Simon’s words.
It’s one photo of her that I’ve ever seen:
About Martin! His girlfriend is from France and her name is Elen. I can mistake but she is skier too I think I saw a lot of photos where she is skiing. They are very nice couple in my opinion!
I really need to reblog this because there is so much informations new for me in it! Thank you, themusicofengine! Also both of them look nice with their girls (I like how Simon’s girlfriend looks to be a similar ‘crazy’ type as Simon is) so I wish them the best of luck to the future.
..But really - I am a bit disappointed in Martin Fourcase but he cannot be winning and be flawless all the time on the other hand. I am also just a bit angry that he lost against Emil Hegle Svendsen because I really dislike that guy.
It’s also a surprise that Martin was the guy who was probably the worst from French team. Jean-Guillaume Beatrix did a great race, same about Simon Fourcade and Alexis Boeuf - I really like all those guys. Also even though I dislike Svendsen I am happy in a way for Norwegian team because Ole Einar Bjoerndalen would get a hard time from journalists otherwise.. Also congratulations to Italy and Austria for finishing in top 5, great job; mainly by Dominik Landertinger who managed to beat Dmitry Malyshko in the last lap - I guess not many people were expecting this.
..And let’s not forget US Susan Dunklee who surprised everybody (probably herself included) and managed to finish on a great 5th place, only few seconds from the bronze medal.
And speaking about three fastest and best female biathletes of this year - Lena Neuner and Darya Domracheva fucked up this race greatly, didn’t they? Six misses each. Well, at least they won’t envy to each other. ;-) Lena Neuner was reminding me of herself when she was starting her career on the top level and always managed to fuck up her shooting greatly in this race. It’s why I started to support her - it was never boring with her and you never knew when she will miss about 4 targets at the last shooting next time. :-)
“Martin tried to help me on the last lap so he slowed down and waited but I was too tired so I told him that he could keep going and get as good as he could”
- Simon said this in an interview for swedish TV, it’s not really what I wrote because I don’t remember it all or his words.
Aaaaww, the best brothers in the world! Btw: When you look at Martin’s time it’s pretty impressive considering his five misses were in fact five penalty minutes. And now add that time he lost by waiting to help Simon - even more impressive.
Of course he finished 2nd! He always finishes 2nd! He would probably also finish second in the ’Who has the most second places ever?’ competition! But still, he was fucking awesome today and his first victory is near, it just has to be! And even if never won anything he would be even more hilarious than every other top biathlete because top biathletes are usually winning. (Note here: Nobody can doubt that Simon is among the very top of biathletes, his current 4th position overall more than proves it.) At least there is one thing Simon should win despite him not winning everything - crystal globe for winning individiual races standings. It’s great and it also means that maybe we will see Fourcade brothers winning all the globes - a big one and also a little ones.
Also I have to congratulate Jakov Fak who was pretty good today and he deserves to be a world champion. And my biggest congratulations go to Jarda Soukup who finished fucking 3rd, hell yeah! He is my favourite Czech biathlete if you want to know.
Also I am pretty happy for Simon Fourcade who recovered from his Thursday’s meltdown and finished on a very good 5th place and has a very good chances in tomorrow’s pursuit. Also I was really surprised by Lena Neuner and the fact how relaxed she is. It’s her last couple of races ever, last world championships, she is under home pressure and still - she is smiling at the start line like if nothing was going on. Also, when she hit 10 out of 10 targets it sounded like as if the whole stadium, whole Germany had one huge megaorgasm - they really love her there.
